Excellent work!

This game wasn't too easy and wasn't too hard...it was JUST RIGHT!

I liked the puzzles a lot and I never thought my mind would be under such pressure...at a snail's pace! The death animations were funny (note to self: when there's a sign that says not to press a button, DON'T press it!), the music was kinda catchy and it felt rewarding to make it through all the levels. Keep up the good work.

An incredibly Science-y challenge!

This game's very unique and different. It has a lot of ideas behind it, and the storyline seems to just get better and better. I admire the 50s/60s style art direction, it really looks awesome! The music's good and keeps you going. The only gripe I got, is that it's harder to destroy these dinosaurs (the RIGHT way) than it is for Mario Mario to jump on a goomba! It's more of a Sonic approach (only seen the homing approach as early as Sonic Adventure). The physics feel spot on, though.

One thing that I really don't get is how the star system works.

Consider this my awesome-review-of-SCIENCE!

Great game!

A lot of these "hell" games seem to be often the most entertaining games on NewGrounds. I liked this one a lot. I got 14 out of 15 forks, my first time through, and I'm sure I'll find what I overlooked next time!

Excellent game!

This game rocks in so many ways, it's not even funny! It feels like its heavily influenced by the Shin Megami Tensei series, in that it's anime and using the Devil to power yourself up to fight demons and such. The rock music sounds really washed out and random, but it kinda reflects how messy and strange this game can get!

I look forward to playing it again and any other future games you got in store in the future.

Epic!

This game really helps one focus on not just going out arrows a blazing (given you're at the right range!), and the music and narration is on the mark. I wasn't fond of the single player mode where it seemed that the right side had an unfair advantage, with their horses and whatnot.

Other than that, this was a nicely put together RTS.

Nice Strategy Game!

It focuses a lot on timing and analysis at the same time, and I like that. Keep up the good work. The music and graphics sort of make me think I'm playing an SNES game!
Nostalgia's kewl, btw.

A Grand Challenge!!

As of this review, I managed to get all the way to Level 19 without consulting the walkthrough. The best strategy I have for the level only puts me one move away from finishing the level (with ALL the stars). Kept thinking to myself of all the attempts I made, if only the Finish was just ONE move closer on that level, I'd have completed it quite some time ago.

Other than that, excellent work, I felt a sense of confidence with how everything was put together from the gameplay to the music (which sounds much like a song I one day planned to release on the Audio Portal, when I finish it), to the achievements and stats that I've acquired in just a bit of time.

Great work, SilenGames. I look forward to seeing more future works from you.

I, uh, don't get it.

But I see the potential! Would love to see what goes on outside the maze. While I wondered why the music itself doesn't loop during gameplay, I thought it'd be a neat challenge to see if one could make it through the maze, before the song ended (once!).

HiddenSpartan responds:

Seeing as I designed the level, I have :P
No, but seriously, were going to take this and use it for something more complex. HiddenSpartan did some amazing work with his programming seeing as he didn't use AS2 or AS3 and made an engine from scratch to port into Flash, I'm proud of what he did. We are going to make a full out RPG, and hopefully fix all the issues we have with this game. Simply in the 72 hours we had, it was a far too ambitious project. Anyways, thanks for the 10.
P.S. There's nothing outside of the maze, it just floating boxes... Shhhhh......

Not Bad, but where's the music?

The gaming segment is a little more "controlled" than I thought it'd be, but I'm surprised I didn't hear Phyrnna's "Epic Hip =HFX=" anywhere!

What a challenge!

Took me about 3 days just to get through normal. I like how this game really makes one think (gallery Protips aside) in terms of survival. The bug I have seemed to have found is that after I defeated Goku, I was not awarded for it.

Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Just a person that one day looks forward to making music for games.
