A win for the ages!

This song sounds so well put together. A great blend of talents. Just one question, who did the drums and synthesizers?

RobSoundtrack responds:

Thanks so much man!! Glad you like it.
I did them drums and no synths were used.
Some used some violin-like techniques on guitar during their solos.
If that's the case, it was the guitarist as per that solo!

Thanks again!

Nice work CJ, this is pretty good. Turning the tune into 4/4 from 3/4, and the drums are good too. The sampling is good as well.

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thanks. I actually didn't mess with the time signature of the sample. It just sounds offbeat. Don't know who to blame for that but it fits.

Nice work, I see the Captain Skyhawk influence has paid off in the long run! Keep it up. <(^-^)>

so...you're doing the thing BrokenDeck's been doing with his MIDI keyboard? Merging various instruments under single keystrokes?

Very eerie and ominous, though I think the building up of the song could have some additional strength to it.

samulis responds:

The buildup certainly could have erupted into more chaos. I ended up having to change some things to keep it from crackling. :/

Excellent tribute suite, TNE! This certainly made me think of a number of RPG series like Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy, going as far as making me think they were from those games!

The use of alternate instruments and harmonies, help make this very original and very unique. The choirs used are very well chosen.

I kid you not, this is awesome. When I saw the name "Capriccio" in the title, I immediately thought of the priceless playback app on the iPhone. But I guess the interesting twist is that this experience could be likened to the app actually embellishing on the original Bullet Heaven soundtrack.

Keep up the wonderful work. This certainly goes to show what can be accomplished with a musician well versed in FL Studio and beyond.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it -- thank you! ^_^

Another lovely waltz tune from HFX. Sounds mighty fine, as it quickly reminded me of Travels to the North. Keep up the wonderful work, girl! You're well on your way into big-namedom.

Very medieval feel, and how well the winds work with the drums and harp is fabulous.

Lovely, this sounds like a EBF 3 revue track. I hear what sounds like a mixture of Nebula and We Dream of Booty here!

Am a fan of underwater stuff! I think that the snare in some way should have more presence. Other than that, this sounds gr8.

The illusion of being a song that progresses is what makes this tune awesome!

samulis responds:

The style I write is too dynamic to remain linear throughout... I often end up making songs dynamic throughout without the intent of creating a progression, for instance, this one goes from A minor to C major around 0:36 with underpinnings of that minor, giving a good feel of progress from darkness into light.

I'm glad you like the piece, I am working on a song version right now that will be longer and more developed.

Has a very Russian feel, even beyond the fact that it's a Russian song. Very impressive work using OpenMPT as a DAW. It might be a bit nicer if the tempo went up for a bit.

Keep up the awesome work.

Thank you so much Christopher.

Just a person that one day looks forward to making music for games.
