Miscellaneous indeed!

I honestly have no idea where this tune would fall, but hey it's unique in some way....

Nicely done

Considering the harp is a close cousin of the piano, this sounded wonderful! I think some of the voicing sounded a bit off @ (0:49). Other than that, this is beautiful. :D

Morien18 responds:

In all honesty, my favorite part was the finale. I get chills every time I listen to it. :3

God of War comes to mind!

I like the modernity this tune holds, in a way it seems to reflect the scenes of action that take place in epic games such as God of War or World of Warcraft.

Roflsniper & wow!

I was actually thinking to myself "what are the odds this remix would be in the key of 'C'", before clicking the link, and lo' and behold it IS! (originals used 'Bb' and 'B'; I've actually heard 'C' used in a vgmusic [MIDI] contribution)

Nice job, m8. The melody slightly deviates from the original, but I guess that's okay, since the majority of it is still really nice.

Nice use of synths as well. This tune has a very original feel about it.

Reaper93 responds:

Hm, seems I missed a review quite some time ago. Thanks for the helpful comments and encouragement. Given how long ago I made this I wouldn't be surprised if it was originally inspired by a MIDI to grab the melody (give or take) and work from there. At this point I've frankly forgotten, but again, thank you so much for the useful review. Audio artists kill for this kind of thing.

Amazing!

This material sounds worthy of adding to a resume' to Nintendo. I just think it would be even more fulfilling if there's a solo [synth] implemented into it, that really adds to the excitement of fightning the mid-boss, to give it a more up-front immersing feel, like you got absolutely nothing to lose.

A nice rework...

It's somewhat a step up from the last version, yet it seems that one of the instruments is suffering from what kind of sounds like a lack of RAM availability or something.

Incredible!

For a first time music composer, I like this. The instruments sound very much like they came from the proprietary licensed game development DAW MusyX. Even more, this tune in a way reflects the style of Chris Huelsbeck, who belonged to Factor 5, the developers behind said DAW and games like the Rogue Squadron series.

Neat work, for a first timer!

Just love the looping of the main theme! This work reminds me a lot of the first work I ever put together, pre-recorded loop free.

I'm looking forward to uploading it one of these days, to help reflect on how much of a "n00b" I was back in 2009!

Quiet, short, and serene.

A lovely mix, in such a concise piece. Keep it up.

Impressive

You have an Alesis Micron keyboard? Wow, it sounds like a beautiful investment! Keep these numbers up, NewFearing. I'd just suggest a lil' reverb to at least the guitar part, to give it an "airy" feel, to better complement the title.

Just a person that one day looks forward to making music for games.
