Love the bass FX!

I think this song would be optimal for use as an intro to an electronica segment on FM radio stations.

Love sci-fi!

I myself am looking forward to making use of "hidden" GB soundfonts that would make sci-fi music aficionados squeal with glee...

You win the internets

A grand mix of rock and symphonic holiday cheer. You've outdone yourself this time, metinks.

It almost sounded like you were going for the medley that had been done from the Carol of the Bells: Carols For Orchestra collection version of Carol of the Bells (by Leontovich/Wilhousky, performed by the Rochester Philharmonic), which features not only What Child is This, but We Three Kings, Greensleeves, Silent Night, and Joy to the World, as well, all to the tune and style of Carol of the Bells!

Again, excellent work, and Happy Holidays!

Thanks a lot for the kind words. I really appreciate them.

Making the classic FF game over song hip? Respect!

This is perfect, d00d! You put this together real well. Not sure why you'd call it a "bootleg edition" cause everything here sounds well produced! Keep it up d00d!

Sounds like a Maurice Ravelle piece

I like it, though it doesn't seem to sound like it should be an ambient piece, at least to my ears. Still quite nice.

well, thanks ^^ and I just randomly chose a category from the list 'cuz I didn't know in wich one to put it

Xmas Techno FTMEW

I kept waiting and waiting for those "synths and bass and beats" and was incredibly happy when they finally arrived.

Nicely done, d00d. Happy Holidays!

This sounds so pro.

Impressively assembled, I really like this.

Not so good spelling aside, it really sounds like a lot of time and effort was put into this song from start to finish, it really sounds like a mainstream media rip! That's how good it sounds!

teamisvaffel responds:

Prettiest use of GB I've heard yet!

I'm sure this was done with GB, and it sounds great, considering the instruments being used.

Would you happen to have the Remix Tools Jam Pack?

Puts a smile on my face :-D

You promised an "exciting experience" and you delivered!

Thank you for the review I am glad that you enjoyed it :)

Sedating and somewhat moving...

I congratulate you for actually putting together a general rock song I could almost fall asleep to like a lullaby up until about 6:30. This is the first "long winded" song on the Audio Portal that I've listened to all the way through. I hear some potential in this song, with its flaws and all. Always remember, there are multiple people out there that all have one particular thing in mind that they want, and sometimes, something like *this* may actually be it!

A GarageBand user myself, I tend to also feel "lazy" sometimes and not really want to perfect the precision of timing in my projects, yet eventually someone with a good ear will find that flaw, surrounded by all the other good stuff in the work. Nice job on putting that scheme in overdrive!

Thanks for the review. The only reason I'm on a mac is because it's the only computer I have access to right now. I personally love Fruity Loops XXL which i hacked :)

My PC hates windows. Every time I tried booting it would stick at the windows screen and either endlessly reset or just stay there.

So I installed Linux Mint 9 and used LMMS but it just wasn't the same. :( When I tried FL9 through Wine it failed also. I'd try to get it to work but my monitor's AC adapter failed on me and I'm waiting to go to my dad's and get the PC to TV box I got from amazon.

So I may go back to making music on LMMS or install Hackintosh on my PC and steal GarageBand. :)

PEACE.

Just a person that one day looks forward to making music for games.
